General description of the subject | Panoramic and close-up views of the Pirelli stand at the 36th International Cycle and Motorcycle Exhibition in 1959, designed by architect Marco Zanuso. The stand's 4 side columns are covered with Pino Tovaglia graphics showing cycles, motorcycles and descriptions of Pirelli tyre production. Attached to a vertical metal stand are bicycle wheels of different sizes. The stand also displays a range of inner tubes for cycles and motorcycles. One image shows the visit to the stand by the Hon. Undersecretary for Transport, Augusto Cesare Fanelli. |
