On the Way with Pirelli
Winding our way around the world of tyres
Pirelli is a company that makes tyres that are now used the world over. Thanks to the possibilities offered by digital means, the students will journey back through time and space to find out about the most important places in the history and present-day world of Pirelli. They will be accompanied on a virtual tour of industrial Milan in the early twentieth century, to the natural rubber plantations in Thailand and Indonesia, to one of the most technologically advanced Pirelli factories, in Settimo Torinese, where people and robots work side by side, all the way to the most famous Formula 1 circuits, where they will have a virtual experience of the thrill of speed as they test Pirelli tyres. A trip around the world and into history, to see how a great multinational corporation has evolved... There’s a long way to go!
The course will be held entirely online and may consist of a number of events (with a maximum of three encounters) depending on the needs of the teacher and the class.
