Are we in an archive or a zoo? Hidden among the shelves and drawers of the Pirelli Historical Archive you might find all sorts of creatures: roosters, foxes, monkeys, even lions and salamanders. Some are drawn, some are made of rubber \u2013 and all are waiting to be discovered. In this workshop, we\u2019ll hunt them down together, just like a real treasure hunt. These aren\u2019t just soft toys born from the imagination of artists such as Bruno Munari. They are also the animals chosen by graphic artists and designers \u2013 including Armando Testa, Eliodoro Ximenes, and Ezio Bonini \u2013 as the stars of sketches and advertising posters. Their job? To explain, in a fun and eye-catching way, the qualities of a product like a tyre. After exploring some of these colourful campaigns, the children can have a go at creating their own advert\u2026 inspired, of course, by the animal kingdom!<\/p>\n
