Pirelli has always had a close bond with sport. Today, it produces tyres for bicycles, motorcycles, and racing cars, but in the past it also created rubber products for swimming, tennis, athletics, and many other sports. The history of Pirelli is a story of passion, technology, and great partnerships, like those with Inter Milan in football and Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli in sailing. First and foremost, sport is movement, energy, and speed, but it is also balance, control, and safety: values that Pirelli has always shared and expressed through its use of visual communication. During this educational programme, the students will visit the Pirelli Foundation to discover how graphic designers and artists have represented dynamism, strength, and speed in some very different styles and a range of techniques.<\/p>\n
The students will be given a close-up look at the work of leading figures in visual communication, and they will then reinterpret these works in a creative way and bring them to life through the stop-motion technique.<\/p>\n
