Pirelli, a century and a half of industrial architecture <\/em><\/p>\n

The Pirelli Tower, the transformation of the Bicocca district in Milan with the former cooling tower, now at the centre of the company\u2019s headquarters, and the factory in the cherry orchard in Settimo Torinese. All these cases will be examined, using the documentation preserved in the Pirelli Historical Archive, so that the students can learn about the contribution of great architects such as Gio Ponti, Vittorio Gregotti and Renzo Piano to the evolution of workplaces during the course of the twentieth century.<\/p>\n
