{"id":103749,"date":"2025-04-11T12:27:27","date_gmt":"2025-04-11T11:27:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondazionepirelli.org\/?p=103749"},"modified":"2025-04-11T12:27:27","modified_gmt":"2025-04-11T11:27:27","slug":"campiello-junior-winners-of-the-fourth-edition-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fondazionepirelli.org\/en\/libraries\/campiello-junior-winners-of-the-fourth-edition-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"Campiello Junior: Winners of the Fourth Edition Announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The fourth edition of the Campiello Junior award came to an end on 10 April 2025 in the Sala del Ridotto at the Teatro Comunale in Vicenza, where the names of the two winning authors were revealed.<\/p><p>The prize-giving ceremony, streamed live on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@premiocampiello1943\">Premio Campiello<\/a> YouTube channel, was hosted by the journalist, author, and television and radio presenter <strong>Armando Traverso<\/strong>, together with the writer and director <strong>Davide Stefanato<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The event welcomed young people from schools across Italy, giving them the chance to meet the authors and experience the thrill of seeing the winners live. The prizes were awarded based on the votes of the Young Readers\u2019 Jury, made up of 240 children from Italy and abroad.<\/p><p>The winners of the fourth edition of the Campiello Junior award are:<\/p>\n<p>Ilaria Mattioni,\u00a0<em>La figlia del gigante<\/em>, Feltrinelli, for the 7-10 years category<\/p>\n<p>Chiara Carminati,\u00a0<em>Nella tua pelle<\/em>, Bompiani, for the 11-14 years category<\/p><p>The speakers also included <strong>Ivan Tomasi<\/strong>, Education Delegate of Confindustria Vicenza; <strong>Mariacristina Gribaudi<\/strong>, President of the Premio Campiello Management Committee; and <strong>Antonio Calabr\u00f2<\/strong>, Director of the Pirelli Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Some members of the <strong>Selection Jury <\/strong>for the Award were also present: <strong>Pino Boero<\/strong>, former professor of Children\u2019s Literature and Pedagogy of Reading, <strong>Chiara Lagani<\/strong>, actress and playwright; <strong>Michela Possamai<\/strong>, lecturer at IUSVE University in Venice and former member of the Campiello Giovani Technical Committee; <strong>Emma Beseghi<\/strong>, former professor of Children\u2019s Literature at the University of Bologna; and <strong>Lea Martina Forti Grazzini<\/strong>, an author and screenwriter for Rai radio and TV programmes.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, starting with the 2025 edition, the <strong>Turin International Book Fair<\/strong>, the <strong>Premio Campiello Junior<\/strong> and the <strong>Pirelli Foundation <\/strong>have launched a partnership to promote high-quality fiction for children and young adults.<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Thursday 15 May<\/strong>, a special meeting with the prize-winners will be held for schools in the Sala Azzurra at the Turin Fair: remember to share the date with the teachers you know!
