Communication and identity throughout the history of a great company"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, <strong>Tuesday, 22 November at 3:00pm<\/strong>, the annual <span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Day of Industrial Cinema of the Industrial Cinema &amp; Corporate Communication Archives of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.liuc.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carlo Cattaneo University (LIUC)<\/a> <\/span><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">was held in the LUIC auditorium.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The focus of the conference was Pirelli and the company\u2019s history, which runs parallel to that of the unification of Italy, as well as Pirelli\u2019s image, which has been constructed using highly original marketing strategies, and its <strong>corporate culture, one which is based on research, innovation, quality in production systems and the products themselves, and on promoting these traits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event included the showing of <strong>historical documentaries, advertising, and short subjects<\/strong> created for Pirelli from the 1920s to the 1970s by big names in Italian cinema, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionepirelli.org\/archivio-storico\/audiovisivi\/detail\/IT-PIRELLI-AV0001-000011\/visita-sm-re-vittorio-emanuele-iii-allo-stabilimento-pirelli-alla-bicocca.html?jsonVal={%22jsonVal%22:{%22startDate%22:%22%22,%22endDate%22:%22%22,%22fieldDate%22:%22dataNormal%22,%22_perPage%22:20,%22collanaName%22:%22\\%22Documentari%20e%20film\\%22%22}}&amp;attachmentMisc=undefined&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>king\u2019s visit to the Bicocca factory in 1927<\/strong><\/a>, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionepirelli.org\/archivio-storico\/audiovisivi\/search\/result.html?query=gavioli&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gavioli brothers<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0and the animated short subjects featuring the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionepirelli.org\/archivio-storico\/audiovisivi\/search\/result.html?query=Pagot&amp;titoloAV=&amp;creditsAV=&amp;startDate=&amp;endDate=&amp;genereAV=&amp;abstractAV=&amp;topicAV=&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pagot brothers<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Guests at the event included <strong>Antonio Calabr\u00f2<\/strong>, director of the Pirelli Foundation, and <strong>Elena Koumentakis<\/strong>, head of Advertising &amp; Sponsorship for Pirelli.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, Tuesday, 22 November at 3:00pm, the annual Day of Industrial Cinema of the Industrial Cinema &amp; Corporate Communication Archives of Carlo Cattaneo University (LIUC) was held in the LUIC auditorium.
