And indeed, at the Auditorium of the <strong>Pirelli Headquarters in Milan <\/strong>it was he, together with other top names from the worlds of contemporary sport and culture, who explained to <strong>over 300 students<\/strong> aged between 10 and 14 how important it is to team up with books.<\/p>\n<p>The vice president of Inter Milan is the ambassador of <em>Fare Squadra con i Libri<\/em> (\u201cTeam up with Books\u201d), a meeting organised by the Pirelli Foundation for the 2019 <strong>#ioleggoperch\u00e9<\/strong>, an event created by the <strong>Italian Publishers Association <\/strong>(<strong>AIE<\/strong>) to promote reading. During the meeting, Pirelli and the Pirelli Foundation, in collaboration with the AIE, donated over 300 books to the <strong>Scuola Media<\/strong> <strong>G. Verga in Milan<\/strong>, to be added to the school\u2019s library.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA book will always be able to show you the way\u201d, said <strong>Luigi Garlando<\/strong>, an author of children\u2019s books and a journalist with <em>La Gazzetta dello Sport<\/em>, who was also on stage at the Pirelli Auditorium, together with <strong>Laura Galimberti<\/strong>, the Councillor for Education for the City of Milan, who pointed to the close alliance between the public and private sector in creating a network of libraries. \u201cYou\u2019ll never get bored if you have a book in your hands,\u201d said <strong>Ricardo Franco Levi<\/strong>, president of the Italian Publishers Association, and <strong>Antonio Calabr\u00f2<\/strong>, the director of the Pirelli Foundation, added that \u201cyou can play\u201d with books, for they are nothing to be afraid of.<\/p>\n<p>The large number of kids were able to talk with the guests: <strong>Regina Baresi<\/strong>, the captain of Inter Milan\u2019s women\u2019s team, said \u201cit\u2019s when you set foot on the pitch, waiting for the referee to blow the whistle, that you realise you\u2019re part of a team\u201d, while Zanetti, answering one of the students who had asked: \u201cWhat\u2019s it like to be so successful?\u201d, recalled that all success brings great responsibility. He also stressed the importance of sacrifice and humility in achieving one\u2019s objectives. <strong>Mario Isola<\/strong>, Pirelli\u2019s ambassador for \u201cteaming up\u201d and the Group\u2019s Head of F1 and Car Racing, commented: \u201cteaming up is when everyone contributes to enhancing the qualities of each individual.\u201d Also in the world of <strong>Formula 1<\/strong>, \u201cthinking as a team\u201d is the winning strategy for Pirelli: working together to achieve any challenge on the circuit.
