The theme was the same for all of them: <strong>roads and journeys<\/strong>, by car and in safety. With <strong>33<\/strong> subjects and a total of more than 500 advertisements, the 1957 advertising campaign for <strong>Pirelli Stelvio, Rolle<\/strong> and <strong>Cinturato<\/strong> tyres captures the spirit of an age \u2013 that of the Fabulous Fifties, in which any and every road can be taken. <em>La strada \u00e8 bella \u2013 <\/em>\u201c<strong>The road is beautiful<\/strong>\u201d, is the message in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionepirelli.org\/archivio-storico\/disegni-e-manifesti\/search\/result.html?query=extraflex&amp;jsonVal=%7B%22jsonVal%22%3A%7B%22query%22%3A%22grignani%22%2C%22startDate%22%3A%22%22%2C%22endDate%22%3A%22%22%2C%22fieldDate%22%3A%22dataNormal%22%2C%22_perPage%22%3A20%7D%7D&amp;lang=en\">Grignani\u2019s collages<\/a>, which invite people to take to the roads and motorways of Italy and travel far and wide. To visit villages and cities of artistic importance, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionepirelli.org\/archivio-storico\/disegni-e-manifesti\/search\/result.html?query=&amp;jsonVal=%7B%22jsonVal%22%3A%7B%22query%22%3A%22carboni%22%2C%22startDate%22%3A%22%22%2C%22endDate%22%3A%22%22%2C%22fieldDate%22%3A%22dataNormal%22%2C%22_perPage%22%3A20%2C%22titolo_father_string%22%3A%22%5C%22Manifesti+e+stampati+pubblicitari%5C%22%22%7D%7D&amp;c_controlaccess_controlaccess_name_role_altro_indice_string=%22Campagna+pubblicitaria+pneumatico+Rolle+Stelvio+Cinturato+1955%22&amp;lang=it\">Carboni<\/a> adds, with his views of the <strong>monuments<\/strong> and squares that are the treasures of Italy. In 1953, Bonini, who was something of a veteran in the field of communication, had himself already created the historic campaign called \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionepirelli.org\/archivio-storico\/disegni-e-manifesti\/search\/result.html?query=&amp;jsonVal=%7B%22jsonVal%22%3A%7B%22query%22%3A%22quanti+calcoli%22%2C%22startDate%22%3A%22%22%2C%22endDate%22%3A%22%22%2C%22fieldDate%22%3A%22dataNormal%22%2C%22_perPage%22%3A20%7D%7D&amp;c_controlaccess_controlaccess_name_role_altro_indice_string=%22Campagna+pubblicitaria+pneumatico+Stelvio+1953%22&amp;lang=it\">How many calculations nature makes<\/a>\u201d starting from the ideas of the engineer-poet <strong>Leonardo Sinisgalli<\/strong>.
