Some of the most important include the institution of a welfare fund in 1877, which provided subsidies in the event of illness.<\/p>\n<p>This was one of the earliest examples of a project in support of workers introduced by a large company. A healthcare service was then set up in 1926 for the benefit of employees and their families, providing specialist advice, laboratory tests, home care and considerable facilitations for admission to hospital and nursing homes.
