Aldo Pietro Vincenzo Giurlani, better known as Aldo Palazzeschi, was born in Florence on 2 February 1887 and died in Rome on 17 August 1974.<\/p>\n

In 1905, the Italian writer assumed the surname of his maternal grandmother, and it was under this name that he became famous, first as a twilight poet, then as a Futurist, but always with a very personal style.
