On Monday, 16 November at 6:30 p.m., the Pirelli Foundation will mark the tenth anniversary of the Pirelli Libraries in the fascinating surroundings of its Milano Bicocca headquarters. As part of the 25th Corporate Culture Week organised by Confindustria, the event will examine how books, reading, and libraries can lead to personal and collective growth.

It will take the form of a conversation on the cultural and social value of books, the role of libraries as centres of knowledge, and the contribution they make to creating more open, aware, and engaged communities.

Readings from famous books, staged in collaboration with the Teatro Franco Parenti, will weave works of literature directly into the conversation.

A brand-new exhibition set up in the HQ courtyard will trace a timeline that runs from the nineteenth century right up to the present day. We are celebrating this long story together – because while every library lives through the stories it holds, it thrives above all on the people who walk through its doors.

To take part in this event, which is free and open on a first-come, first-served basis, please book here.
