Information Notice on the Processing of Personal Data

Dear User,

Privacy is a value that Fondazione Pirelli, acting as data controller, recognizes and respects. Before providing us with your personal data (the provision of which is voluntary), please read this notice regarding how we will use them.

We will use your personal data to respond to your requests for information sent to the email address indicated in the section “YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS”.

Where you have provided your consent, your personal data will be used to enable us to send you, including by e-mail, communications relating to initiatives and conferences organized by Fondazione Pirelli.

Furthermore, subject to your consent, our marketing e-mails will contain small invisible images called “tracking pixels” (“Tracking Pixels”), which allow us to collect information regarding your interaction with the communication. Tracking Pixels enable us to determine, for example, whether an e-mail has been opened, the date and time it was viewed, the IP address used and the type of device. You may withdraw your consent at any time, including solely with respect to Tracking Pixels while continuing to receive our e-mails, by using the link at the bottom of each e-mail or by writing to info@fondazionepirelli.org. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect processing already carried out.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We will retain your personal data:

(i) where you have submitted requests for information to the public contact e-mail addresses, available on the Fondazione Pirelli website (info@fondazionepirelli.org, or visite@fondazionepirelli.org, orscuole@fondazionepirelli.org, oruniversità@fondazionepirelli.org), for a period of 1 (one) year from our last communication; (ii) where you have consented to receive communications relating to initiatives/conferences organized by Fondazione Pirelli, for a period of 3 (three) years from the date your consent was collected, unless you request otherwise.

Furthermore, if within the period referred to in paragraph (ii) you perform actions on one of the websites or apps of Fondazione Pirelli or Pirelli group companies (including, by way of example and without limitation, registration for promotions or events, requests for new services, and responses to surveys), demonstrating your interest in maintaining a relationship with Fondazione Pirelli and/or Pirelli group companies in relation to the products and/or services of Fondazione Pirelli and/or Pirelli group companies, we will retain your Personal Data for an additional 3 years from the date such actions are recorded, without however sending communications regarding initiatives/conferences organized by Fondazione Pirelli in the absence of your specific consent.

Upon expiry of the above retention periods, your Personal Data will be archived and retained, where necessary, for the period required by applicable law.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
At any time, you may exercise the rights provided for under Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR including, without limitation, the right to know at any time what Personal Data relating to you are processed and how they are used, to have them updated, rectified or erased, to request the restriction of processing, or to object to the processing on legitimate grounds, and to withdraw any consent previously provided, where applicable (including on a granular basis and separately for each processing activity carried out through Tracking Pixels, for example by withdrawing consent solely to Tracking Pixels while continuing to receive our e-mails) by contacting: Fondazione Pirelli – Viale Piero e Alberto Pirelli 25 – 20126 Milan, e-mail: info@fondazionepirelli.org. If you believe that your rights under the applicable data protection legislation have been infringed, you may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it). We may not be able to accommodate every request relating to certain information where we consider that doing so would violate any law, legal requirement or the rights of other data subjects.

PRIVACY POLICIES OF THIRD PARTIES
This Privacy Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information by Fondazione Pirelli. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of other websites or applications and encourage you to read all applicable terms, conditions and privacy policies before providing information to third parties.

LIMITATIONS TO MINORS’ PERSONAL DATA
If you are a minor, please do not provide us with any Personal Data without the consent of the person exercising parental responsibility over you. Should we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a minor without the consent of the person exercising parental responsibility over him/her, we will promptly delete such information. SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA
We have security protocols in place to protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification, and unlawful destruction and accidental loss. We only allow access to our databases when necessary, and then under strict guidelines as to what use may be made of such data.

CHANGE OF PRIVACY POLICY
Our Privacy Policy may change over time. The date of the most recent update is indicated at the top of the document.
