10th Festival of Educational Robotics

What if the premises of the University of Milano-Bicocca became a “battleground for young innovators”?

On 12 and 13 May 2016, the Pirelli Foundation took part in the X Festival della Robotica Educativa, an innovative teaching method created by a partnership between the Amico Robot network of schools, with the patronage of the parents association of the G.B. Pirelli primary school and of the University of Milano-Bicocca.

Here, primary and secondary school students challenged each other to “code fights” to make the robots they themselves had designed reach their targets. To achieve this, however, they had to use the skills (including problem-solving, critical and strategic thinking, teamwork and communication) that they had learnt through this new educational method.
