Audio-visuals
Hundreds of movies recorded on film or magnetic tape from 1912 to the early 2000s: from the film by Luca Comerio, one of the greatest Italian filmmakers of the silent era, showing the visit of King Victor Emmanuel III to the Bicocca through to commercials made by the great masters of Italian animation for the cinema or for the Carosello programme on television, to the most recent television commercials. A vast heritage that covers a long and crucial period in the history of audio-visual communication, from the origins of cinema to the rise of television.
