Blaise Pascal
Blaise Pascal was born in Clermont-Ferrand on 19 June 1623 and died in Paris on 19 August 1662. One of the major philosophers of all times, at a very early age Pascal began to study mathematics and natural sciences, before moving on to philosophy and theology. Amongst his most important works we find Thoughts, fragments collected during his life and published posthumously by Guillaume Desprez.
