Graham Greene
Writer, playwright and MI6 spy Graham Green was born in Berkhamsted, UK, on 2 October 1904. His adventurous life as a secret agent at the service of the British Crown had him travelling all over the world and was a great source of inspiration for his novels – which he himself defined as “entertaining” – whose genres range from thriller to comedy and which featured a fast-paced narrative and complex and troubled characters. Amongst his works we find Stamboul Train, Our man in Havana and The human factor.
