The three little pigs
Mama pig is fed up with her house being treated like a hotel: her three children are grown up now and it’s time for them to leave the pigsty! This might sound like a story we’ve already heard, or it might not, because though there are three little pigs, two are he-pigs and the third is a she-pig The two brothers and their sister pack their bags and go off to find their place in the world, naturally being careful of the wolf. For the first time, this amusing new take on the classic fable of The Three Little Pigs introduces a female character, who has no intention of locking herself in a cosy little house, and she becomes the real force against a common enemy. The texts and illustrations by the two authors are truly inspiring, with their pointed irony and powerful drawings that in just a few strokes brings to life both the characters and the landscapes.
