Mousse’s Holidays
Mousse is a strange, funny character created by French illustrator Claire Lebourg, whose book are published by Babalibri in Italy. Mousse lives at the seashore, spending his days in long walks on the beach and diving into the water. In this second adventure he feels lonely, because all his friends have left for the summer holidays, so he decides to do the same and to invite his friend, Bichon the cat, to share walks, bathes and ice cream. At a certain point, a strange animal named Félix joins them as well; Mousse starts to feel a bit jealous and doesn’t enjoy himself like before. A fresh, summery story to accompany younger children on their holidays and teach them the importance of inclusion and sharing. The book is published as part of the Superbaba series, with text in block capitals, suited to beginning readers, and a teaching file that can be downloaded online, with lots of activities to do at home or in the classroom.
