Premio Bancarella 2023
The Premio Bancarella 2023 literary prize was awarded on 16 July. The prize was created as an initiative by the booksellers of Pontremoli in 1953, held first in Mulazzo before moving to Pontremoli itself. The winner of the 71st edition of the prize was La portalettere (The Letter Carrier) by Francesca Giannone, Editrice Nord, the book that received the most votes from the independent booksellers among the six finalists chosen during the Turin International Book Fair. The winner of the Premio Bancarella Sport, on its 60th anniversary, was Sara Simeoni’s book Una vita in alto (A Life at the Top), Rai Libri editions.
