

Premio Biella 2025
On Saturday 7 June, the five finalists of the 24th edition of the Premio Biella will be presented at the Biblioteca Civica in Biella. This literary award honours novels or essays that reflect ongoing economic and social transformations, while weaving together art and industrial development. The finalists were chosen from over thirty entries by a jury chaired by Alberto Sinigaglia, with members Claudio Bermond (vice-chair), Paola Borgna, Ida Bozzi, Paolo Bricco, Loredana Lipperini, Sergio Pent, Alessandra Tedesco, and Tiziano Toracca.
The finalists for the 2025 edition are:
- Carmine Abate with Un paese felice (Mondadori)
- Andrea Bazzanini with L’ultima stagione (Oligo Editore)
- Dario Franceschini with Aqua e tera (La nave di Teseo)
- Melania Mazzucco with Silenzio. Le sette vite di Diana Karenne, (Einaudi)
- Ilaria Rossetti with La fabbrica delle ragazze (Bompiani)
