Space for Everyone
Rat-Man, the famous character created by Leo Ortolani, goes all the way to the ISS, the International Space Station, in the company of Rover, the comic book alter ego of the Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli. In this volume, which was made in collaboration with ASI and ESA, Ortolani tells us the story of space travel with the irony and black humour that are a feature of his characters. This experiment in scientific popularisation offers a light-hearted introduction to the subject of space travel, showing us aspects of the everyday life of an astronaut and what their work in space actually involves. Rat-Man and a good laugh lead us into a world that may seem far away and futuristic but that an astronaut sees as just another job, even though one that is quite out of the ordinary. The story also contains many tributes to the world of comics and science fiction, from the Fantastic 4 to Star Wars. C’è spazio per tutti Leo Ortolani Panini Comics, 2017
