World Poetry Day
Spring begins on 21 March and, like every year, it is also the date on which World Poetry Day is celebrated. The event was established in 1999 by UNESCO, which assigns this literary genre a privileged role in promoting linguistic diversity, dialogue and intercultural understanding. To celebrate it, we propose an article published in the Pirelli house-organ “Fatti e Notizie” (Facts and News) in 1962: “Contemporary Italian poetry”.
