When an early spring wakes the animals of the wood from hibernation, Tortoise sets off for the top of the hill, where he’ll celebrate his first 100th anniversary. On his walk he meets Bear, who is aggressive only in appearance. As they go, many animals join the two friends. After the first rough approaches of Bear, they make up a very large and varied company. Step by step they teach Bear how great it is to work together and, finally, they enjoy a magnificent spectacle together, made even lovelier by being together.
