Presentation of the book A Muse in the Wheels. Pirelli: A Century of Art at the Service of its Products
The book A Muse in the Wheels. Pirelli: A Century of Art at the Service of its Products, a Pirelli Foundation project edited by Giovanna Ginex and published by Corraini was presented on Wednesday, 24th June at 7 p.m. at Triennale Milano.
The event provided an opportunity to celebrate a great chapter in the history of graphics and design: over 200 internationally renowned artists, and 450 illustrations telling the story of 100 years of visual communication.
The speakers wereAntonio Calabrò, chief executive officer of the Pirelli Foundation, the architect Alessandro Mendini, the designers Leonardo Sonnoli and Andrea Braccaloni, and Marco Tronchetti Provera, chairman of Pirelli and of the Pirelli Foundation.
The event was held in collaboration with La Triennale di Milano and Triennale Design Museum, under the patronage of AIAP. Watch the video
