Pirelli Smart Kids

Smart working, smart kids. In 2020, Pirelli’s Human Resources Department, in partnership with the Pirelli Foundation and with the support of RadioMamma, organised a series of activities for the children of employees, helping them maintain a good work-life balance.

In particular, the Pirelli Foundation organised a tour to illustrate the world of inventions and innovations created by the company. From 18 to 22 May 2020, using materials from the Historical Archive, a virtual tour and specially created games, the children learnt about the properties of the natural rubber that is used to produce tyres, the secrets of the great masters of international advertising graphics, and the history of the bicycle and of photography.

In line with the Foundation’s mission, the Pirelli Smart Kids programme aims to introduce children and grown-ups to the history of the company and to make known its core principles: corporate culture, sustainability, and constant research and innovation.
