Sunscreen packed, suitcases ready, and off we go! But what happens when we close our front door behind us? It’s time for lots of characters to stretch their legs – all those who are forced to spend the whole year stock still. Not dusty puppets but ancestors who can’t wait to escape from their old photo albums and gilded frames. For them, our home is like a funfair and they swirl around in their vintage clothes, among our little potted jungles, organising regattas in our bathtub and enjoying fantastic picnics around the fires on our cookers.
