Concatenated Fairy Tales
Topipittori has reprinted a collection of nine fairy tales by the writer and fairy-tale scholar Beatrice Solinas Donghi, first published in 1979. In these modern fairy tales, which reveal a profound understanding of traditional folk tales, we find an enchanted world full of wizards and talking animals, chattering kings and haughty countesses, winged horses and children that turn into frogs. The new edition, beautifully illustrated by Irene Rinaldi, brings these stories back to life for young readers but also for adults. They are concatenated because they are all linked together by some elements that mean that a new story begins as soon as the previous one ends.
