    Premio Campiello

    The names of the five finalists for the 2025 Premio Campiello were announced on Friday 30 May, in the assembly hall of the Palazzo del Bo in Padua. This prestigious literary award, dedicated to Italian fiction, was set up in 1962 by the Industrialists of Veneto and is once again supported by Pirelli. The Jury of Literary Experts, chaired this year by Giorgio Zanchini, selected the following titles: “Di spalle a questo mondo”, Wanda Marasco (Neri Pozza) “Inverness”, Monica Pareschi (Polidoro) “Bebelplatz”, Fabio Stassi (Sellerio) “Nord Nord”, Marco Belpoliti (Giulio Einaudi Editore) “Troncamacchioni”, Alberto Prunetti (Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Editore) On the same occasion, the Premio Campiello Opera Prima was awarded to “Pietà” by Antonio Galetta (Giulio Einaudi Editore).
