On Thursday 3 July, at the Nymphaeum of the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia in Rome, the winner of the seventy-ninth edition of the Premio Strega was revealed. This year, the prestigious Italian literary award was presented to Andrea Bajani, for the novel “L’anniversario”, published by Feltrinelli, which received 194 votes; in second place was Elisabetta Rasy with “Perduto è questo mare”, Rizzoli, securing 133 votes, followed by Nadia Terranova with “Quello che so di te”, published by Guanda, with 117 votes; fourth place went to Paolo Nori with “Chiudo la porta e urlo”, published by Mondadori, with 103 votes. Completing the top five was Michele Ruol with “Inventario di quel che resta dopo che la foresta brucia”, TerraRossa, which garnered 99 votes.
