A whale goes to the mountains

There are questions we have all pondered at least once in our lives: who are we? where are we going? where does the sea start? When a giant whale ponders these issues, it is not easy to help her find answers. Niska never loses heart as she begins her solitary uphill journey, facing the challenges of rivers, rushing torrents, and streams until she comes across an equally inquisitive child. Nicola Magrin's poetic watercolour paintings accompany us on her adventurous round trip, in which the friendship between the young human and the giant whale becomes deeper with every page. Written by Ester Armanino, the book forms part of the I Caprioli library, created with the support of the Club Alpino Italiano, which helps children gain a better understanding of nature and greater respect for the environment. .
