Virginia Woolf
Adeline Virginia Woolf was born in London on 25 January, 1882, and died in Rodmell, on 28 March, 1941. Woolf is one of the greatest English writers of all time and, thanks to her experimental and refined prose, a crucial figure in 20th century literature. She was also very active in the fight for equal rights for women. Her works include “To the Lighthouse”, “Orlando”, “Mrs Dalloway” and “A Room of One’s Own”.
