A Year of Pirelli Libraries
Celebrating with books and cuisine
Buon Compleanno Biblioteche Pirelli, 2017
On 20 November 2017, we celebrated the first anniversary of the Pirelli corporate libraries, opening up a discussion on books, cuisine and Milan. A playful dialogue ensued between author Alessandro Robecchi and chef Filippo La Mantia. Antonio Calabrò, Director of the Pirelli Foundation, served as moderator. The noir genre set the tone and as per tradition, the table was in the forefront. The lead actors sat around this table, conversing and cooking.
This event marked one year of the corporate libraries, but almost a century of Pirelli libraries and initiatives that promote reading and culture.
