15th Corporate Culture Week:
The Beautiful Factory
“The beautiful factory” was the focus of the Pirelli Foundation’s presence at the 2016 Corporate Culture Week. A concept of “beauty” based on three key values: culture, creativity, and sustainability.
As in the previous edition in 2015, professional actors once again acted out stories for the public, illustrating the creativity and innovation that have always guided the company on its way through the world.
The pages of Pirelli magazine read by Giuseppe Cederna and Sara Bertelà formed a backdrop to a narrative about the great writers and artists, such as Umberto Eco, Bruno Munari, and Leonardo Sinisgalli, who have left such an indelible mark on modern culture.
And a comprehensive illustration of the “culture of sustainability” was shown on the premises of the Pirelli Foundation, with innovative materials, optimised production processes, environmentally friendly products, and factories “on a human scale”. With a close look at almost a century and a half of corporate history.
