“When history builds the future: Pirelli, 150 years of industry, innovation and culture” at Palazzo Marino
A meeting was held on 4 July at 11 a.m. in the Sala Alessi in the Palazzo Marino, under the title “Thinking Ahead: Pirelli, 150 Years of Industry, Innovation, and Culture”. A conversation about Pirelli’s 150-year history was held with Giuseppe Sala, the mayor of Milan, and Marco Tronchetti Provera, the executive vice president and chief executive officer of Pirelli. The participants also included Ferruccio Resta, the rector of the Politecnico di Milano, and the journalist Silvia Boccardi. Paolo Gentiloni, the European commissioner for economic and monetary affairs, and Maria Cristina Messa, the Italian minister of university and research both spoke by video message.
