Memory and Future in an Extraordinary Heritage
The Historical Archive contains 4 kilometres of documents on the history of the group, from its foundation in 1872 through to the present day: an extraordinary heritage declared as a cultural asset by the Italian State and visited by thousands of people every year.
In the Archive, a key role is played by the section devoted to communication, with photographs, drawings and posters, audio-visuals, house organs and company journals, including the famous Pirelli magazine. The Historical Archive includes a collection of “Documents for the History of Pirelli Industries”, in addition to the documents produced by the companies in the Group over the course of nearly 150 years.
