General description of the subject | The motorcyclist Miro Maffeis, third-placed in the Raid Nord-Sud of the 1925, on a Bianchi 350 motorcycle. The rider won the 1920 edition of the race, with an Indian 500 motorcycle fitted with Pirelli tyres. The 841-km Raid Nord-Sud, a race also known as the "Freccia del Sud", was held between 1919 and 1925. From 1932 it became officially known as the "Milano-Napoli" and was also called the "Coppa Mussolini". It was held between 1932 and 1936 on a 900-km route. |
